Amanda Taffy

Ms. Amanda Taffy is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and remains committed to resolving the most pressing health challenges.  She is currently a Fellow at the FXB Center for Health & Human Rights, where she is working on a doctoral thesis, The Role of the Arts During Covid-19, Gendered Expressions of Resilience & Empowerment.  Before returning to school, Ms. Taffy was employed by the Appellate Division (MHLS), 2nd Department, in New York.  She also served as the Director of Public Service & Social Justice for the Yale Alumni Association in New York,  where she founded and Co-Chaired both the Public Service & Social Justice Committee and the Juvenile Justice Reform Task Force.   In her free time, Ms. Taffy is an equestrian and spinning enthusiast.  She loves long hikes with family members, close friends, and dogs; and remains a proud resident of NYC.
