Roma Rights

rsz_2p1070157Harvard FXB is leading an innovative research, advocacy, and capacity-strengthening Roma program. We implement research projects and conduct advocacy and awareness aiming at (a) promoting the rights and participation of Romani children and adolescents, (b) promoting reflection on past and present state-sponsored violence against Roma, and (c) advocating for the realization of Roma rights on academic and policy agendas.

Our team employs participatory action research and case study methodologies to give voice to the issues identified as problematic by Roma people themselves. We aim to strengthen the capacity of communities and support Roma youth leadership as a tool to build adolescent investment in social and political change.
