Lauren Gullett, MS
Lauren Gullett (she/her) is a PhD student in the Health Policy program. Her research interests lie at the intersection of healthcare policy and equity and social epidemiology, where she is interested in studying structural and political determinants of reproductive health. Specifically, Lauren is interested in the study of racial equity in gynecological health care as well as spillover effects of reproductive health policies (e.g., state abortion policy) on broader reproductive health outcomes.
Lauren grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and worked for two years as a Postbaccalaureate Research Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. She previously received her MS in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and her BS in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
