Northeastern University School of Law Event – Rethinking Borders: Climate Change, Migration, and Human Rights

Professor Jacqueline Bhabha, FXB Director of Research and Professor of the Practice of Health and Human Rights at the Harvard School of Public Health, will be the keynote speaker (11:45am – 1:15pm) at this all-day event,”Rethinking Borders: Climate Change, Migration and Human Rights.”

Sponsored by the Northeastern University Law Review in this year’s symposium, the  participants will examine the interplay between migration, human rights and climate change, with the goal of developing innovative solutions to the current immigration and refugee crisis. Panels will explore how borders are expressed as both natural forms and as human-made barriers via laws and policies.

The symposium will be held from 9:30 am to 5:00 p.m. at Northeastern University School of Law, 65 Forsyth Street, 240 Dockser Hall. It will also be livestreamed via Facebook at the official law review Facebook page.
