Dr. David Mills is a pediatric emergency medicine physician and fellow in global health at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He is an affiliate in the Religion, Conflict, and Peace Initiative at the Harvard Divinity School and a member of the Children in Crisis working group at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
David’s work focuses on the intersection of health and human rights, evaluating the structural and historical determinants of health on population health outcomes, health research and program implementation to address health equity, and high quality health systems strengthening in humanitarian-development contexts. Since 2014, David has worked in the occupied Palestinian territories partnering with local and international organizations to implement health capacity building programs in pediatric emergency medicine, education, and research.
