Stefano Angeleri

Stefano Angeleri is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Limerick, Ireland. He holds a PhD in Law from the Irish Centre for Human Rights (University of Galway, 2019) and is the national coordinator of the Irish/UK section of the Academic Network on the European Social Charter and Social Rights. Alongside academic work, Angeleri has collaborated on several research and training projects, including with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), the Global Campus of Human Rights, and the Italian NGO Naga. His professional interests and expertise focus on the intersection of international human rights law, public health, and migration, addressing complex sociolegal challenges in these fields. Recent publications include the monograph “Irregular Migrants and the Right to Health” (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and “A Primary Health Care-Anchored Migrant Right to Health: Insights from a Qualitative Study in Colombia” which was published in a special section of the Health and Human Rights Journal (“distress migration and the right to health”) that he co-edited with FXB Director of Research Professor Jacqueline Bhabha.
