On Monday, March 8, the Interdisciplinary Concentration on Women, Gender, and Health (WGH) will host its annual International Women’s Day event.
Dr. Nancy Krieger, Chair of WGH, will provide a brief summary of the history of the radical origins of International Women’s Day. Additional speakers include:
• Sarah Richardson (Harvard/WGS + Hist Sci) – COVID-19 & GenderSci Lab
• Zinzi Bailey (UMiami + HSPH alum) – Structural racism, COVID-19, prisons, and gender
• Cris Alonso (HSPH DrPH + WGH) – COVID-19 in Chelsea, MA: Latinx immigrants, essential workers, and gender
