She is a cofounder of HEAL Palestine, established in January 2024. Dr. Salman earned her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a focus on refugee and international health, and completed her pediatric oncology training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
