Bram Wispelwey

Bram Wispelwey is a physician and social theorist whose work examines how settler colonialism, racism, and other enduring social formations organize health, knowledge, and medical practice. He is a faculty member in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and he co-founded and co-directs the Palestine Program for Health and Human Rights at the Harvard FXB Center. Grounded in the tradition of social medicine, his scholarship is inseparable from his work building community-rooted systems of care, particularly through Health 4 Palestine, and reimagining clinical and public health practice around solidarity, accountability, and collective self-determination.
