Dennis Kunichoff, MPH

Dennis is a public health data analyst and the FXB Center’s Data and Research Analytics Lead. He works with multiple research teams in different research programs at the Center, where he leads and supports quantitative analytic work. His role ranges from finding data sources and data management to generating analyses and developing academic manuscripts. He has published and worked on topics including, but not limited to, investigating mechanisms of structural racism, the health of child migrants, and war in the occupied Palestinian territories. Dennis is interested in using data to explain injustices around the world and creating analyses that emphasize the ethos that health is a human right, and he has a keen interest in finding novel datasets that support that mission. Prior to joining the FXB Center, Dennis worked as a statistician at NYU’s Grossman School of Medicine Department of Population Health and taught statistics courses for NYU’s School of Global Public Health and NYU’s Prison Education Program. Outside of work, he enjoys making music in community and is an aspiring horticulturist.
