Evan Lemire, BS
Evan Lemire (He/Him) is a PhD Candidate in the Population Health Sciences Program, in the Environmental Health Department. He works with Dr. Adam Haber studying the effects of housing quality, and the political economy of housing, on tenant respiratory health. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Auckland.
Evan is interested in the social power relationships which produce health inequities and, in the case of housing, the landlord-tenant relationship in particular. He hopes to produce research that can contribute to movements for tenant power and tenant health.
